Medical Physics and Engineering Conference
There is a conference session for you!
IPEM's annual Medical Physics and Engineering Conference is being held on the 14th - 16th September 2010 at the Jubilee Campus, the University of Nottingham.
This is the premier scientific and networking event in the UK for all those working in Medical Physics, Engineering and Technology.
This year there is a focus is on seven specialty areas, with the IPEM Special Interest Groups developing the programmes for each of those areas. There will be a SIG-specific session running each day, which means that you can attend the one day or two days most relevant to your normal work, or come to the full conference for a much broader experience. As usual there will be eponymous lectures such as the Woolmer Lecture and the HPA lecture, and there will be the usual programme especially for trainees.
2010 is the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Biological Engineering Society, which has been part of IPEM since 1995
Tuesday 14th September: Magnetic Resonance - Diagnostic Radiology - Nuclear Medicine
Wednesday 15th September: Nuclear Medicine - Ultrasound and Non-Ionising Radiation - Rehabilitation.
Thursday 16th September: Physiological Measurement - Informatics and Computing - Trainees.
We are grateful to the BNMS for organising a Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry Workshop in conjuction with IPEM's Nuclear Medicine SIG. The BNMS Autumn Meeting will take place on 13 & 14 September, also at Nottingham University's Jubilee Campus. For further details of the jointly organised Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry Workshop on 14 September, visit the Programme Information below.
