Creative Counting in Nuclear Medicine 9th February 2010

Numerical resolution recovery methods were originally presented more than 20 years ago. Only with the recent increase in the computational power of image processing workstations have such methods become practically available. What other statistical and numerical techniques can now potentially be used in nuclear medicine? This meeting will look at how we can make better and more creative use of the counts in a nuclear medicine image.

Uses of PET in Radiotherapy 10th February 2010

This meeting will discuss uses and advances of PET in radiotherapy. Topics will include imaging for diagnosis, staging and assessment of treatment response, the impact of PET information on treatment planning, image registration methods, QA and combined PET/CT systems. The meeting should appeal to scientific and clinical staff working in radiotherapy and PET.

Experiences and Optimisation of Multicentre MRI Research Studies 26th March 2010

Multicentre MRI is an increasingly popular approach for acquiring large datasets from diverse geographical populations yet technical issues in combining data from multiple sites need to be addressed. At this meeting, practical approaches to these problems will be discussed in addition to results from existing clinical and research multicentre studies.

5th Meeting of the Digital Radiology User Group 22nd April 2010

Head and Neck Cancer: advances in radiation treatment 30th April 2010
